August's Expert of the Month is Dana Serrano

Dana Serrano, PT, MPT, is a physical therapist and Certified Dementia Practitioner specializing in neurological and neurodegenerative disorders. After earning her Master’s degree in 2000 and gaining extensive experience in orthopedics, she shifted her focus to neurodegenerative disorders. As the founder of a multi-location practice, Dana provides high-quality, personalized, and Medicare-covered in-home therapy designed to help patients safely and gracefully age in place all year round. Understanding & Responding to Dementia Behaviors with Empathy: When dementia changes the brain, standard logic no longer works, but deep connection still does.
