Volunteer Opportunities

Make a difference in the lives of older adults and families while supporting the work of the Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center in Boca Raton . Volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment for individuals living with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Whether you are interested in working directly with participants in our specialized Adult Day Care program or supporting visitors and staff in our Memory Disorder Clinic, there are several ways to get involved.

Adult Day Care Program Activities Assistant

Volunteer activities assistants support staff in providing meaningful activities and social engagement for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Volunteers may help facilitate group activities, spend one-on-one time with participants, prepare activity materials, or assist with program setup and cleanup.

Activities may include brain games, bingo, table games, current events, scrapbooking, exercise, holiday celebrations, discussion groups, pet therapy, entertainment, and other recreational and cognitive activities. Volunteers may also assist with preparing and cleaning the dining area before and after lunch.

Memory and Wellness Center Clinic Clerical Assistant/Greeter

Clinic volunteers help create a welcoming experience for individuals and families visiting the Memory and Wellness Center for memory evaluations, dementia services, caregiver support, and other programs.

Volunteers may greet visitors, assist with sign-in and directions, answer telephones, prepare informational materials, assist with mailings and filing, and perform other basic clerical and computer tasks.
